Jharkhand IACC represents the Jharkhand State Chapter of IACC (Indian Association of Clinical Cardiologists). It’s inception took place on 18th November 2013. The preliminary meeting took place in presence of Founder Members of The Jharkhand Chapter.
The Clinical Cardiologists have been awarded PGDCC (Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology) by the world’s largest university, IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University), following full time, rigorous training in Clinical Cardiology for two years. These Clinical Cardiologists are trained to perform Non – Invasive and Minimally Invasive cardiac procedures. These include Echocardiography, Tread Mill Test, Holter ECG Monitoring, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Assessment, Intensive Care Management, Thrombolysis and Non – Invasive Management of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Diabetes, Stroke etc.
We know that the CAD is more severe and almost 10 years earlier in Indian population as compared to European and American counterparts. We Cardiologists specialize to cater population with cardiac problems and it’s complications at the level of Primary and Secondary Prevention.
We conduct and attend Continued Medical Education (CME) and Conferences to update ourselves to provide the latest and best possible treatment to the patients.
Also, it gives us immense pleasure to share that Central IACC has awarded and entrusted Jharkhand IACC to host IACCCON 2016, The 7th National Annual conference of Indian Association of Clinical Cardiologists. This conference is scheduled from 23rd – 25th September 2016 at Ranchi.
